Ombrè Feathers cards {+ video!}

Hello!

Today I have a new video to share with you where I made two different cards following the same design. I show you how I made ombrè stamping and how I customize my stamps to achieve new different looks with them.

I LOVE things with feathers drawings, everything: clothes, jewerly, art... So I had this Feather More stamp set and I simply needed to make something with it. I like decorated feathers so I went that way. And because they're solid stamps, I'm also sharing how to achieve that gradient color look when stamping with solid stamps. Well, you can do it with normal stamps too but it'll be less noticeable :)

For this technique I prefer to use pigment inks and because Distress Oxide are partially pigment inks and I had them on hand, I wanted to try them. I really love the results, they work just like pigment inks for this. Of course, you can use dye inks as well, the final look will be slightly different, but I'll be super pretty too!

So, I made two cards with different color combos and I didn't decorate one of them, on this one the ombrè effect is the star of the show and the final result is cleaner and softer.

For my second card I didn't stop at the stamping and kept customizing my feathers. The final result is more vibrant and fun, kind of bohemian. I really like to experiment with different looks for my cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you like my projects and video! Have a great day :)

Punny Pantry treat boxes

Hello!

Today I'm on the Avery Elle blog sharing a set of treat boxes featuring Punny Pantry stamps. I love this stamp set from the first time I saw it, the images are super cute, the font is lovely and it's super fun!

So because I wanted to use more than one of the images on my project, I decided to make some treat boxes. Treat Tag & Box dies were perfect for this!

I colored each image using my Prismacolor pencils and then I stamped them again and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I love how the pencils look on colored cardscock! The rest is pretty simple, some twine and ribbon and different colorful patterned paper.

These little treat boxes are easy and fun to make :)

I hope you like my project for today, thanks for your visit :)
Wishing you a great start of the week!

Hello!

Today we're featuring Plan on it: Birthday a stamp set from the planner series focused on birthdays and Zig Zag Stackables, a fun addition to your Stackables dies!

So I made a birthday shaker card combining both ;)

I used Finely's ABCs to spell te BDAY word and that is the shaker part! Then I added little elements from the Plan On It Birthday stamps that I colored with Copic markers. I added some Glossy Accents to the balloons and number and finished the card with some patterned paper from Perfectly Plaid Rainbow and Watercolor Wishes.

I hope you like it! Don't forget to check all this inspiration week posts at the Lawn Fawn blog, you can still enter all those giveaways!

Bun in the Oven {+ video!} & Embroidered Thanks - LF April inspiration week

Hello again!

Lawn Fawn continues and today I'm sharing two cards featuring products from the Spring release and combining them with old products :)

First, I'm featuring Bun in the Oven, which is created to combine with Sprinkled with Joy stamps and dies, a creat idea to keep using a Christmas set!

So I made a pop up card with an interactive oven in the inside! And I made a video so you can see it better and see how I made it :)

I used Bun in the Oven images both on the front and inside of my card and I also created a background using them!

I love that cute bun in the oven, and if you open the oven you can see the little heart I stamped in there! :)

For my second project I'm featuring Embroidered Thanks and I'm combining it with a Christmas set as well! Baaah Humbug is a super cute set and you can actually use those sheeps all year round but I think that this one that is doing some knitting would fit perfectly with my embroidered sentiment!

I used Distress inks to color my background and Copic markers for the sheep. Then I used the Stitched Border dies to add some dimension to my scene and a little banner and heart for a cute touch.

I hope you enjoyed my cards! Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for more inspiration, videos and giveaways!
